

Box Dot Frame

LET'S BEGIN
Save Often
Firstly, have your plugins loaded into PI.
If you do not know how to install your filters checkout this tutorial by Debisty.
Here
2.Open a new image 400x400 transparent.Using the Path Draw Tool/Rectangle/2d/White.
Start from the top left-hand corner covering the the entire square.Once that is done
click on 3d pipe from the dropdown menu, go to your Easy Palette/Text/Path Effects
/Material Attributes/Bevel and double click B39.
With the selection still activated. Go to frame1 activate it Right Click/Copy.
Now activate your main image once again, go to Edit/Paste/To Fit Selection.
Filters/Screenworks/Boxed Dot.
Apply this Drop Shadow:
3.Open in your workspace frame1.ufo.
Right Click/Duplicate the frame1 and using the Pick Tool drag the duplicate into
the new image you just made.Right Click/Align/Align Both. Minimise the frame1 for
now, as you will be working with it throught this tutorial.
Filters/Xero/Fritillary with these settings. Click OK.
4.Open the offset.ufo Right Click/Duplicate. Using your Pick Tool drag the
duplicate into your main image,and place in position as shown below:
5.Using the Path Draw Tool/Ecllipse/3d Pipe/white, draw an ecllipse 264x332, in your Easy Pallette/
Text/Path Effects/Material Attributes/Bevel and double click B40.
With the selection still activated. Go to frame1 activate it Right Click/Copy.
Now activate your main image once again, go to Edit/Paste/To Fit Selection.
Filters/Screenworks/Boxed Dot.
6.Using the Path Draw Tool/Ecllipse/2d/white, draw an ecllipse 251x319.
Duplicate this ecllipse and in your Layer Palette click to hide this for now.
Make sure the first ecllipse is kept active.
7.Open in your workspace the bloem.jpg. Go to Adjust/Convert Data Type/Greyscale.
Close the origional coloured copy.This is what you should have now:
Go to Edit/Copy. Then activate your main image once again, go to Edit/Paste/
To Fit Selection.
8.Now, unhide the other ecllipse.With the selection still activated. Go to frame1
activate it Right Click/Copy.
Now activate your main image once again, go to Edit/Paste/To Fit Selection.
Filters/Screenworks/Boxed Dot. Right Click/Properties and change the Transparency to 70.
9.Open the glass ufo. Go to Edit/Copy then activate your main image and go to Edit/
Paste/As Object.Place this over as shown:
Now go to your Layer Palette and drag your outer-center frame to the top.
This is what your Layer Palette should look like now:
Right Click/Merge All.
10.Go to Filters/Xero/Titanium and apply these settings. Click OK.
This is the result:
11.Open your corner.ufo into the workspace. Right Click/Duplicate
and using the Pick Tool drag the duplicate into your main image.
Place it in the top lefthand corner, Right Click/Duplicate. Go to
Edit/Rotate Flip/Flip Horizontally. Place in the upper right hand corner.
Right Click/Duplicate. Go to Edit/Rotate Flip/Flip Vertically.Place in the bottom,
right hand corner Click/Duplicate.
Edit/Rotate Flip/Flip Horizontally. Place in the bottom left hand corner.
Right Click/Merge All and Save.
