open in your workspace gate.ufo. Go to Edit/Duplicate/Base With Objects
Close the origional now.
Make sure the gate frame image is active. Go to Edit/Fill and fill the image with #000000 (black)
With gate frame image still active. Go to Effects/Eyecandy 3.1/Glass
Apply these settings. Then click the tick in the top righthand corner to
them to your gate frame:
Activate the Magic Wand Tool and click inside the frame.
Go to Edit/Trace Edges/Select Marquee. Leave at Default Settings. Click OK.
With the Path Drawing Tool activated go to the Drop Down List and change it from
Horizontal Deform to 2D Object.
Open the Easy Palette/Image Enhancements/Fill/Gradient. I chose G06. Double click
to apply to your graphic.
In your Layer Palette drag this new layer below the gate frame.
open the floralborder.ufo into the workspace Right Click/Copy.
Activate your main image right click/Paste. Right Click/Align/Center Both.
Open in your workspace MD-asian.ufo. Right Click/Copy.
Activate your main image right click/Paste. Place as shown Below
On the gate frame I gave a shadow of:
On the Md-asian I gave a shadow of:
In the Layer Palette holding down the Shift Key select the gate frame, floralborder
and MD-asian. Right Click/Merge As A Single Object.
In the top Frame I left the center empty. Here is another one I did
Here I opened the scenery.jpg. Right click/Copy. Then went to my main image
Right Click/Paste. Then I dragged it under the gate fram and MD-asian objects
Used the Transform Tool/Resize and pulled all sides just under the center frame border.
Merge All and Save.Remember there are other examples of the completed Tag on Mar's tutorial page.
