Simple Kaldeioscope Frame



Open your image into the workspace. Leave it as a background for now.



Choose 3 colors for your frame.
1.Add a symmetric border of 5 pixels. Medium color.
2.Add another symmetric border of 5 pixels. Dark color.
3.Add another symmetric border of 25 pixels. Light color.
Repeat 1 & 2 once more.



Now you need to promote this image to a layer. On your layers palette, right click on the background layer, then select promote to layer.
Use your magic wand to select the light green (or whatever color you used for the 25 pixel selection) Do not deselect.


Go to Effects/Reflection Effects/Kaldeioscope. Apply the following settings.
Do not deselect.



Creat a New Layer, with the new layer active apply a cutout with the settings below.
Do not deselect.
Creat a New Layer, with the new layer active apply a cutout with the settings below only this time change 1t to -6 (minus)



Completed frame. Play around with the Kaldeioscope settings.



Another Repeat as above only using the Kaldeioscope Effect change the Rotation to 180.
